The Penyu Shell-Ter Project

The Penyu Shell-Ter Project is an initiative by YTL Cement’s CSR arm, BUILDS, to celebrate YTL Group’s 70th anniversary. It brings together art, community, and conservation by showcasing 70 concrete turtle sculptures, each reimagined by 51 Malaysian artists and public figures into one-of-a-kind works of art.

Through a charity auction, the project supports the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia (TCS), PULIHARA, and community-based NGOs, extending its impact beyond conservation. Together, we celebrate creativity, uplift communities, and protect Malaysia’s natural heritage.
