At the heart of The Penyu Shell-Ter Project are 51 Malaysian artists and public figures who have each reimagined a turtle sculpture into a one-of-a-kind work of art. From established names to emerging talents, every creation reflects a unique perspective, celebrating local artistry while championing conservation. Together, their contributions turn concrete into creativity, amplifying awareness and supporting efforts to protect Malaysia’s endangered turtles and uplift communities nationwide.

Abdel Moaiz Cholan
A Malaysian watercolourist. He began painting at the age of 15 before pursuing Illustration and Comics at The One Academy, where he graduated in 2009.

Abdulrashade
A graffiti artist and creative entrepreneur from Damansara, Malaysia. Active since 2007, his semi-abstract style blends Nusantara culture with modern graffiti, creating vibrant colours, funky shapes and whimsical illustrations.

A celebrated Malaysian artist known for his expressive mastery in watercolour. Born in Kelantan and now residing in Kuala Lumpur, Abey is an architecture graduate from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

Aimman Hafizal
Aimman Hafizal is a cross-disciplinary artist from Johor, Malaysia, who focuses on fine art and graphic design. He obtained an MA in Fine Art & Technology from UiTM in 2019.
